Point Breeze: This Week In The News – Philly Inspired Fonts, Vacant Home Becomes Unruly

These Philly-inspired fonts give back to each neighborhoodPHL Open Type, a collaborative project helmed by Philadelphian Phil Buckley, strives to highlight each neighborhood in Philadelphia. Proceeds from the Point Breeze font will go toward the KIND Institute (via Curbed Philly).

Trash Floods Street Outside Point Breeze House: Complaints have been made about a vacant house on South 15th Street, between Wharton and Reed streets (via Facebook).

Family Robbed in Early July Seeking Video Footage: A family living at 16th and Morris streets was robbed on Sunday, July 2. The family, whose car was later found on the 1600 block of South Chadwick Street, is hoping to obtain video footage from a camera pointed directly at the car (via Facebook).
