Philadelphia Neighborhoods Joins Forces with Local Media

Philadelphia Neighborhoods has joined with several media outlets to provide news coverage.

Al Dia, one of the most prominent Hispanic news outlets in the country, will translate stories into Spanish from Philadelphia Neighborhoods when the articles have particular interest for the Hispanic community. View the latest collaboration here.

We also work with WHYY’s NewsWorks and the Historical Society of Pennsylvania.

The Germantown Chronicle and the Mount Airy Independent, which can be seen here, also have joined in a partnership with Philadelphia Neighborhoods. Your Community Voice, a newspaper that serves Logan, Olney, West Oak Lane, East Oak Lane and adjoining communities, publishes articles produced by reporters from Philadelphia Neighborhoods. PN also hosts the website for Your Community Voice at this location. The cooperative agreement is being funded through a seed grant from the School of Communications and Theater at Temple University.

Philadelphia Neighborhoods also contributes to neastphilly.com, which is run by former PN reporter Shannon McDonald.

TechnicallyPhilly, which is run by Temple graduates, can be seen here.

We also work with Plan Philly, a group focusing on zoning and development issues, at this website.
