New Jersey: Navigating Insurance Claims During COVID-19

On Monday, April 13, the National Weather Service issued a tornado watch for Cape May County, and nearly all of New Jersey.

New Jersey resident Dana Tack’s childhood home was impacted by the storm, leaving a tree that crashed through her mother’s window.

Insurance companies are deemed an essential business during the pandemic and they want homeowners to know it’s important to take pictures and videos of any damage. 

This can help with a claim, especially if the adjuster can’t make it to the home within 48 hours.
