Black firefighters share their experiences as they strive to further Black and Brown representation in the field.

U.S. House and Senate Candidates, in addition to local representatives, spoke to community members to rally support before the Pennsylvania primaries on May 17.

Amid ongoing City budget hearings, the advocacy group Parks and Rec Heroes hosted a rally outside City Hall to advocate for increased spending on Philadelphia’s Parks and Recreation department in Philadelphia on Thursday April 21st. 

The City of Philadelphia proposed a redesign for Washington Avenue on March 1, 2022. This new proposal is contentious, though, because it is different from the prior plan, which featured pedestrian improvements that many groups had spent years advocating for. 

The city’s public orchestra, created by Ari Benjamin Meyers, performed for three nights on the riverfront.

The experimental chamber music group pushes audiences to have an epiphany about the scale and potential consequences of global climate change.

Amy Eusebio holds a background in social work and has utilized that experience to go into helping immigrants that need assistance with getting immersed/adjusted to the United States, and more specifically Philadelphia.
