Philadelphia Freeze

The Philadelphia Freeze, a women’s ice hockey team based out of University City, returned to the ice on Oct. 2 after its 2020 season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Some of the greatest athletes have come from Philadelphia, like Joe Frazier and Wilt Chamberlain, and even fictitious ones like Rocky. Philadelphia is a breeding ground for talent, whether it’s on or off the field.
