Technically Philly: Startup Weekend Philadelphia Seeking to Improve Health Care

Audience members watched as pitches and presentations were made at the Startup Weekend Health.

Startup Weekend took place in Philadelphia again this past weekend. This time startup models were dedicated solely to improving health care.

The event began with 60-second pitches from participants and entrepreneurs who had an idea for a startup business. From there, teams were formed through networking activities and they worked for two days on demos and business models for a new product that would innovate health care.

The goal was to see how much could be accomplished in 54 hours.
