If you are looking for a suit, tie, hat, shoes or any men’s apparel at a reasonable price and guaranteed quality, Smooth Like That, is the place to go. Located on 5705 N. Broad St., Smooth Like That is an up-scale men’s clothing store and has been in business for seven years.
“We opened this store here in Olney because there weren’t any nice men’s clothing stores. There is one store up the street, but their merchandises are cheap and poor. We have better quality and better prices,” said Eddie Singleton, a Smooth Like That salesperson.
Singleton explained the owner named the store, Smooth Like That, “because people will come into [the] store looking for suits wanting to look smooth” for any occasion, such as proms, weddings and anniversary parties.
“Customers will walk into the store, say, ‘I want to look smooth like that,’ and point to a certain suit we have on display,” Singleton said.
Luke Williams, a local resident, said, “I always go shopping here because prices are great and their clothes are my kind of style.”
Men’s apparel costs ranges from $99.99 to $399. Ties, cuffs, hats and other accessories are $19.99 to $279.The store also sells boy’s clothing, which ranges in price from $39.99 to $89.99 .
“Fathers and sons can dress alike, if they wanted to,” Singleton said.
Smooth Like That has a tailor, who can alter customers’ suits, coats and other outer garments.
Men of all shapes and sizes can find something wearable at Smooth Like That. They have sizes from small to 6X.
“We have everything here, men’s jackets, suits, ties, socks, leather shoes and hats. Smooth Like That has it all,” Singleton said.
