The Wall Cycling Studio, located at 100 Levering St., will be holding free classes Saturday to raise money for the Race for Babies of the March of Dimes foundation. All donations given that day will go to the foundation.

Seth Hall, the coach of St. Joseph’s University Cycling Team, said the owner of the Wall Cycling Studio, 26-year-old Juliet Sabella, approached him about holding the event at her studio.
“When [Juliet] heard about the organization she asked how she could help,” Hall said. “We discussed for a bit and she came up with his incredible offering.”
Hall said his goal “is to raise as much money as possible while also getting people exciting about cycling, spinning [riding stationary bicycles] and physical fitness.”
The 5K and 10K race is the cycling team’s third annual event as a part of the March of Dimes.
“We have raised over $50,000 in our first two years and this year, through sponsorships we have already raised over $32,000,” Hall said. “We are excited for another terrific event!”
So far, there are three classes scheduled that can hold up to 14 people at a time. To sign up for one of the three classes, visit www.thewallcycling.com and click on the schedule tab. That will take you to a new page where you should click on April 13 and then pick between the times of 8:45 a.m., 9:45 a.m. or 10:45a.m.

The event is being held on the same day as the Manayunk StrEAT Food Festival, but Sabella said she believes it will bring more people into the studio. The studio is also listed on the StrEAT festival map.
