Philly Roller Derby: A Family on Wheels

By: Emily Briggs

Philly Roller Derby is more than a team — it’s a family forged on and off the track. Skaters share an unbreakable bond that is rooted in their passion for the sport.

The track is a place of self-discovery, where skaters learn to become confident in their skating ability and in themselves. Off the track, the team forms friendships that extend beyond practices and games. Philly Roller Derby is always there to support their teammates.

It’s a space where diversity is celebrated, individuality is embraced, and everyone belongs. Teammates support each other through life challenges, they celebrate victories.
