Exporting Videos from Final Cut Pro for Web Uploading and Saving

Exporting your videos for the web is a snap.

First highlight the sequence in your bin. This will determine what gets exported.

 

 

Now select File- Export- Quicktime Movie. Don’t select “Quicktime Conversion.”

 

Now name your file, select the destination and leave “current settings” selected. You can uncheck “Recompress All Frames.” It will slow things down. Only use this if you are having rendering or playback issues with your video. 

 

 

You are now done. Log on to Vimeo, upload your files and you can call it a day.
