Youth: A Candid Conversation with James Washington from The Institute for the Development of African-American Youth

The Institute for the Development of African-American Youth, Inc. (IDAAY) is a Philadelphia-based organization that has become nationally recognized for its ability to empower and educate low-income, disadvantaged at-risk urban youth to succeed. With 32 years of service, IDAAY has served 30,000 youth and families within nine different community-based programs. 

James Washington has worked with the organization for four years in various capacities but now serves as the executive administrator. Hear how Washington started in the organization and how IDAAY serves the Philadelphia residents.
