Soweto: Schools Help Fight Hunger]

High levels of unemployment, underemployment and homelessness have led to an increase in the levels of poverty and hunger across South Africa. Educators recognize that hungry children do not concentrate well. With limited resources, Nghunghunyane Secondary School in Soweto provides learners with breakfast and lunch every day. For some learners, these will be the only meals they will have.
