For many Filipino Americans in Philadelphia, faith is more than worship—it’s a cultural anchor. At the heart of this connection is Saint Augustine Roman Catholic Church, a historic landmark in Old City. With the establishment of a Santo Niño shrine and Filipino Masses, the church has become a vibrant hub for preserving Filipino traditions, offering a spiritual home for the community while celebrating their rich cultural heritage through music, dance, and shared rituals.
